On January 20, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Natrchaloew conference room 530, 5th floor, Pre-clinic building, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul,MD, President of Khon Kaen University, together with Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD,Vice President for Research and Innovation, paid an official visit to the Research Institute for Human High Performance and Health Promotion (HHP&HP), Khon Kaen University. The visit aimed to exchange perspectives on the Institute’s operational approaches and to discuss strategies for advancing its research initiatives.

In addition, the visit served to communicate the University’s strategic directions in research and innovation, ensuring alignment with the University’s overarching strategic framework, as well as to emphasize the acceleration of research translation into tangible commercial applications and measurable societal impact.

On this occasion, Professor Jintanaporn Wattanathorn, PhD, Director of the Research Institute for Human High Performance and Health Promotion (HHP&HP) KKU, along with faculty members, researchers, and staff, warmly welcomed the President, the Vice President and the delegation.  The Research Institute for HHP&HP presented an overview of its operations and highlighted key research achievements.  The visit concluded with a constructive exchange of recommendations aimed at strengthening research capacity and fostering sustainable research excellence within the University in the future.
