On this occasion, the Faculty of Technology, KKU, is organizing an international one-day academic workshop entitled “Circular Economy and Green Transition towards Technopreneurship” on 26 February 2026, from 09:00–14:00, in Seminar Room 2, 2nd Floor, Building TE06, Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University.

ในการนี้ คณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดกิจกรรม The Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University (KKU) is organizing an international one-day workshop on “Circular Economy and Green Transition towards Technopreneurship” ในวันที่ 26 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เวลา 09.00–14.00 น. ณ ห้องสัมมนา 2 อาคาร TE06 ชั้น 2 คณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

The workshop serves as a high-level academic forum for the exchange of knowledge and research experience in Circular Economy, Green Transition, renewable energy, resource management, and the development of Technopreneurship.  The event features three distinguished international scholars:

• Professor Chyi-How Lay from Feng Chia University, Taiwan — an expert in bioenergy production through anaerobic fermentation, biohydrogen and biohythane development, microbial fuel cell systems, and innovative wastewater treatment.  He has been recognized among the world’s Top 2% Scientists.
• Professor Wang Chin-Tsan from National I-Lan University, Taiwan — a specialist in green technology, fuel cell system design, microfluidics, and space bioenergy applications.  He currently serves as Director of the Space Computing Technology Center and has been ranked among the world’s Top 2% Scientists.

• Professor Gopalakrishnan Kumar from University of Stavanger, Norway — an expert in circular bioeconomy, biotechnology for carbon reduction, biohydrogen production, and techno-economic analysis.  He has an extensive portfolio of international scholarly publications and has consistently been listed among the world’s Top 2% Scientists for several consecutive years.

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) การเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (Green Transition) พลังงานหมุนเวียน การจัดการทรัพยากร และการพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการเทคโนโลยี (Technopreneurship) โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนักวิชาการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากต่างประเทศ 3 ท่าน ได้แก่

• ศาสตราจารย์ Chyi-How Lay จาก Feng Chia University ประเทศไต้หวัน ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการผลิตพลังงานชีวภาพด้วยกระบวนการหมักแบบไม่ใช้ออกซิเจน (Anaerobic Fermentation) การพัฒนา Biohydrogen และ Biohythane ระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงจุลินทรีย์ และการบำบัดน้ำเสียเชิงนวัตกรรม ได้รับการจัดอันดับเป็นนักวิทยาศาสตร์ Top 2% ของโลก
• ศาสตราจารย์ Wang Chin-Tsan จาก National I-Lan University ประเทศไต้หวัน ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านเทคโนโลยีสีเขียว การออกแบบระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงและไมโครฟลูอิดิกส์ รวมถึงพลังงานชีวภาพในอวกาศ ปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ Space Computing Technology Center และได้รับการจัดอันดับ Top 2% Scientists ของโลก
• ศาสตราจารย์ Gopalakrishnan Kumar จาก University of Stavanger ประเทศนอร์เวย์ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้าน Circular Bioeconomy เทคโนโลยีชีวภาพเพื่อการลดคาร์บอน การผลิตไฮโดรเจนชีวภาพ และการวิเคราะห์ความคุ้มค่าทางเทคโนโลยี (Techno-Economic Analysis) มีผลงานตีพิมพ์ระดับนานาชาติจำนวนมาก และได้รับการจัดอันดับ Top 2% Scientists ต่อเนื่องหลายปี

This initiative is implemented under the KKU Reinventing University 2025 Project, a key strategic mechanism to enhance the research capacity of Khon Kaen University. The Research and Innovation Division functions as the principal coordinating body in supporting advanced knowledge development, strengthening researcher competencies, expanding international research networks, and facilitating the translation of research outputs into impactful technologies and innovations that address societal and industrial demands within an increasingly dynamic global landscape. The activity further reflects the integrated collaboration between the Faculty of Technology and the Research and Innovation Division in advancing the University toward becoming a leading research-intensive institution with strong international engagement and a firm commitment to sustainable development.

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวดำเนินการภายใต้โครงการ KKU Reinventing University 2568 ซึ่งเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการยกระดับศักยภาพด้านการวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยมีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรมเป็นหน่วยงานหลักในการสนับสนุน ส่งเสริมการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ ทักษะนักวิจัย การสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ ตลอดจนผลักดันงานวิจัยสู่การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมที่สามารถตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของสังคมและอุตสาหกรรมในบริบทโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็วและยังเป็นการสะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือเชิงบูรณาการระหว่างคณะเทคโนโลยีและฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ในการขับเคลื่อนมหาวิทยาลัยสู่การเป็นองค์กรวิจัยชั้นนำที่มีความเชื่อมโยงระดับนานาชาติ และมุ่งสู่การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน.
