The Research and Innovation Affairs, Khon Kaen University welcomed the delegation from the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), under the “Research and Innovation Acceleration Agency for Competitiveness and Area Development (Public Organization)” or abbreviated as “RCAD” on the occasion of their site visit to monitor the progress of research projects on April 2, 2026, at the Research Administration Division, Office of the President 2.

     ฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เปิดพื้นที่ต้อนรับคณะจากหน่วยบริหารจัดการทุนด้านการเพิ่มความสามารถการแข่งขัน ภายใต้สำนักงานเร่งรัดการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมเพื่อเพิ่มความสามารถการแข่งขันและการพัฒนาพื้นที่ (องค์การมหาชน) (รวพ.) ในโอกาสลงพื้นที่ติดตามการดำเนินงานโครงการวิจัย เมื่อวันที่ 2 เมษายน 2569 ณ กองบริหารงานวิจัย สำนักงานอธิการบดี 2

     Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research and Innovation, together with Professor Thidarut Boonmars, DVM, PhD, Vice President for Enterprise and Societal Sustainability, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.  They presented an overview of the university’s research performance.  They also exchanged ideas on advancing research to align with national competitiveness goals.

     The PMUC delegation was led by Associate Professor Ganda Boonsothonsatit, PhD, Director of the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), along with Assistant Professor Jirawan Neimsakul, PhD, Program Director of the Digital Platform | Semiconductor | Logistics | Future Mobility and Rail System, and their team. The session included a summary of research outcomes from 2020–2025 and discussions on research project management, covering key areas such as smart logistics, digital platforms, energy, and modern agriculture, totaling more than nine projects.

     คณะผู้เข้าร่วมจากหน่วยบริหารจัดการทุนฯ นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์กานดา บุญโสธรสถิตย์ ผู้อำนวยการหน่วยบริหารจัดการทุนด้านการเพิ่มความสามารถการแข่งขัน ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์จิราวรรณ เนียมสกุล ผู้อำนวยการแผนระบบคมนาคมแห่งอนาคต โลจิสติกส์และดิจิทัล และคณะ ภายในกิจกรรม มีการสรุปผลการดำเนินงานปี 2563–2568 พร้อมหารือการบริหารจัดการโครงการวิจัย ครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญ เช่น โลจิสติกส์อัจฉริยะ ดิจิทัลแพลตฟอร์ม พลังงาน และเกษตรสมัยใหม่ รวมกว่า 9 โครงการ

     In addition, policy-level discussions were held to strengthen research governance and promote the effective translation of research outputs into tangible applications. The delegation also visited the University’s advanced battery and next-generation energy facilities.

     นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการแลกเปลี่ยนเชิงนโยบายเพื่อยกระดับการบริหารจัดการงานวิจัย และส่งเสริมการนำผลงานไปใช้ประโยชน์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม พร้อมลงพื้นที่เยี่ยมชมโรงงานแบตเตอรี่และพลังงานยุคใหม่ของมหาวิทยาลัย

     This visit underscores Khon Kaen University’s pivotal role as a leading hub for research and innovation, contributing significantly to the advancement of national competitiveness and sustainable development.
