ผลงานวิจัย มข. ยกระดับเกษตรกรไทย ด้วยองค์ความรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น สู่โมเดล “จิ้งหรีดเงินล้าน”

Research by Khon Kaen University has been featured on the television program “Khon Hua Ka Thi” (รายการ คนหัวกะทิ) in the episode “Unveiling the Path to Success of Million-Baht Revenue Cricket Farming,” aired on April 18, 2026, on GMM25. The program highlights the University’s significant role in translating knowledge into tangible community development.

     ผลงานวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นได้รับการเผยแพร่ในรายการ “คนหัวกะทิ” ตอน “เปิดเส้นทางความสำเร็จของจิ้งหรีดเงินล้าน” ออกอากาศเมื่อวันที่ 18 เมษายน 2569 ทาง GMM25 สะท้อนบทบาทสำคัญของมหาวิทยาลัยในการนำองค์ความรู้สู่การพัฒนาชุมชนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

The Research and Innovation Affairs of Khon Kaen University proudly commends the success of research on cricket farming as a sustainable livelihood. This work was conducted by the Research Institute of Strategy and Coordination for Northeastern Development (rISNED), Khon Kaen University, led by Dr. Anuwat Srisawat, Head of the project on transferring cricket farming innovations to enhance household income and strengthen the grassroots economy, together with his team.  As one of the Spatial development services: Enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities through the development of new value chains in cricket farming to boost the potential for grassroots economic development in Northeastern Thailand.  The project reinforces Khon Kaen University’s role as a leading research and development institution by integrating scientific knowledge with the King’s Philosophy and local wisdom. These elements have been effectively transferred to farmers, enabling them to improve production, reduce costs, and increase income in a practical and measurable way. This has led to the successful “Million-Baht Revenue Cricket Farming” model implemented in several areas. The project’s achievements demonstrate the practical applicability of its knowledge, supported by key national research funding agencies, particularly the Program Management Unit for Area Based Development (PMU A), which plays a vital role in driving area-based research toward economic and social value creation.

      ฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ขอร่วมชื่นชมความสำเร็จของผลงานวิจัยด้านการพัฒนาอาชีพการเลี้ยงจิ้งหรีด ผลงานวิจัยจาก สถาบันวิจัยยุทธศาสตร์และประสานความร่วมมือเพื่อพัฒนาภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น  Research Institute of Strategy and Coordination for Northeastern Development (RISNED), Khon Kaen University โดย  ดร.อนุวรรตน์ ศรีสวัสดิ์ หัวหน้าโครงการถ่ายทอดนวัตกรรมการเลี้ยงจิ้งหรีดเพื่อยกระดับรายได้ครัวเรือนและพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจฐานราก และคณะ  ซึ่งตอกย้ำบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในฐานะสถาบันชั้นนำด้านการวิจัยและพัฒนา โดยบูรณาการองค์ความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์ร่วมกับศาสตร์พระราชาและภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ถ่ายทอดสู่เกษตรกรจนสามารถยกระดับการผลิต ลดต้นทุน และเพิ่มรายได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ก่อให้เกิดโมเดล “จิ้งหรีดเงินล้าน” ที่ประสบความสำเร็จในหลายพื้นที่ ความสำเร็จดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงประสิทธิภาพขององค์ความรู้ที่สามารถนำไปใช้ได้จริง โดยโครงการนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากแหล่งทุนวิจัยสำคัญของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะหน่วยบริหารและจัดการทุนด้านการพัฒนาระดับพื้นที่ (บพท.) ซึ่งมีบทบาทในการผลักดันงานวิจัยเชิงพื้นที่สู่การสร้างมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม

In addition, Khon Kaen University has promoted systematic cricket farming practices, including feed management, breed development, and improvements in housing and sanitation. These efforts have resulted in stronger crickets and consistent product quality. The University has also supported financial management by introducing simple household and business accounting systems, enabling farmers to analyze costs, plan profits, and build savings effectively. This has facilitated a transformation in their roles—from “farmers” to “entrepreneurs.”

     นอกจากนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นยังได้ส่งเสริมการจัดการเลี้ยงจิ้งหรีดอย่างเป็นระบบ ทั้งด้านการให้อาหาร การพัฒนาสายพันธุ์ และการจัดการโรงเรือนและสุขาภิบาล ส่งผลให้จิ้งหรีดมีความแข็งแรง และผลผลิตมีคุณภาพสม่ำเสมอ อีกทั้งยังสนับสนุนการบริหารจัดการทางการเงิน ด้วยการนำระบบบัญชีครัวเรือนและบัญชีธุรกิจที่เข้าใจง่ายมาใช้ ช่วยให้เกษตรกรสามารถวิเคราะห์ต้นทุน วางแผนกำไร และสร้างเงินออมได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ นำไปสู่การปรับเปลี่ยนบทบาทจาก “เกษตรกร” สู่ “ผู้ประกอบการ”

This success underscores Khon Kaen University’s role as a key driver of local development, not only generating knowledge but also ensuring its practical application. Ultimately, it enhances the quality of life of Thai farmers in a sustainable manner and serves as a model for grassroots economic development driven by innovation and self-reliance.

     ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นในการเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น ที่ไม่เพียงสร้างองค์ความรู้ แต่ยังสามารถถ่ายทอดและประยุกต์ใช้ได้จริง ช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของเกษตรกรไทยอย่างยั่งยืน และเป็นต้นแบบของการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจฐานรากด้วยนวัตกรรมและการพึ่งพาตนเอง
