On 24 June 2026, Assistant Professor Phayom Saraphirom, PhD, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, participated in an academic panel discussion at the Research University Network (RUN) booth during the Thailand Research Expo 2026, held at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Bangkok.

During the event, Asst. Prof. Phayom delivered a presentation entitled “Integrated Provincial Water Resources Management Linked to Strengthening Water User Organizations and Local Administrative Organizations: A Case Study of Khon Kaen Province.”

โดยร่วมเสวนาในหัวข้อ “การบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำแบบบูรณาการระดับจังหวัดที่เชื่อมโยงกับการสร้างความเข้มแข็งขององค์กรผู้ใช้น้ำและองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น จังหวัดขอนแก่น”

The presentation highlighted a systematic and integrated approach to provincial water resources management through collaborative governance involving government agencies, water-user organizations, and local administrative organizations. The proposed framework aims to enhance institutional capacity and improve the effectiveness of water resources management by promoting stakeholder participation, strengthening local governance mechanisms, and addressing area-specific needs. Furthermore, the approach supports sustainable adaptation to environmental and climate variability while fostering resilience in water resource management at the provincial level.

การเสวนาครั้งนี้ได้นำเสนอแนวทางการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำในระดับพื้นที่อย่างเป็นระบบ ผ่านการบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐ องค์กรผู้ใช้น้ำ และองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการบริหารจัดการน้ำให้มีประสิทธิภาพ สามารถตอบสนองต่อบริบทของพื้นที่ และรองรับความเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและสภาพภูมิอากาศได้อย่างยั่งยืน
