The Research and Innovation Affairs, Khon Kaen University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Associate Professor Chadamas Sakonsinsiri, PhD, a faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, on being honoured with the UK–Thailand Women in STEM Awards 2026. The award recognizes outstanding female researchers for their excellence and contributions in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), while promoting research collaboration between Thailand and the United Kingdom. The initiative is supported by the British Embassy Bangkok and Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).

On this auspicious occasion, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne of the United Kingdom, presented the award during the Women in STEM: Thailand–UK Partnership 2026 ceremony, held on 17 July 2026 at the Maha Chulalongkorn Building, Chulalongkorn University. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and the British Embassy, Bangkok.
