The Research and Innovation Affairs, Khon Kaen University, proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to Associate Professor Wararat Songpan, PhD, a faculty member of the College of Computing, KKU, on being selected as one of 60 outstanding early-career researchers and engineers worldwide to participate in the HPC ACM Summer School 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.

The program is jointly organized by ACM and ACM Europe and hosted at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS), one of the world’s premier supercomputing centers, currently ranked 16th globally, and a major hub for Quantum Computing in Southern Europe. The program is designed to foster the next generation of researchers by enhancing their expertise in High Performance Computing (HPC) and other emerging computational technologies that are shaping the future of scientific discovery and innovation.

Through this prestigious international program, participants will engage with world-renowned researchers and experts, gaining advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in cutting-edge topics, including Large Language Models (LLMs) on supercomputing platforms, Quantum Computing, and Big Data Analytics.
