On August 20, 2026, Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research and Innovation at Khon Kaen University, represented Khon Kaen University at the opening ceremony and served as a panelist in a discussion on “Research for Sustainable Well-being and Quality of Life” at the 14th Regional Research Expo. The event was held at Rajabhat Rangsarit Auditorium, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, under the theme “Research Synergy: Harnessing Research Power and Wisdom of the Northeastern Region (Esan Wisdom) to Connect Thailand’s Future through Research and Innovation.” The expo was held from August 20–22, 2026.

     เมื่อวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2569 ศาสตราจารย์ พญ. ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เป็นผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นเข้าร่วมพิธีเปิด และร่วมเป็นวิทยากรเสวนาในหัวข้อ “การวิจัยเพื่อสุขภาวะและคุณภาพชีวิตที่ยั่งยืน” ในงาน “มหกรรมงานวิจัยส่วนภูมิภาค (Regional Research Expo) ครั้งที่ 14” ณ หอประชุมราชภัฏรังสฤษฏ์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ภายใต้แนวคิด “Research Synergy: พลังวิจัย ภูมิปัญญาอีสาน เชื่อมต่ออนาคตไทยด้วยวิจัยและนวัตกรรม” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 20–22 สิงหาคม 2569

     The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Mr. Danuphorn Punnakanta,  Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who was assigned to represent Professor Yodchanan Wongsawat, PhD, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) , under the MHESI, delivered the official report. The ceremony was attended by university executives, researchers, and representatives from higher education institutions and research networks across Northeastern Thailand.

     พิธีเปิดได้รับเกียรติจาก นายดนุพร ปุณณกันต์ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวง อว. เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมายจาก ศ.ดร.ยศชนัน วงศ์สวัสดิ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวง อว. โดยมี ดร.วิภารัตน์ ดีอ่อง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) กล่าวรายงาน พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร นักวิจัย และเครือข่ายสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือเข้าร่วมงาน

     The 14th Regional Research Expo was organized by Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and the network of higher education institutions in Northeastern Thailand. The event serves as a platform for showcasing research and innovation, exchanging knowledge, and strengthening collaborative networks in research and innovation. It aims to promote the utilization of research outcomes for the sustainable development of the region and the country.

     มหกรรมงานวิจัยส่วนภูมิภาค ครั้งที่ 14 จัดโดยมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา ร่วมกับ วช. และเครือข่ายสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ เพื่อเป็นเวทีนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรม แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยและนวัตกรรม เพื่อร่วมขับเคลื่อนการนำงานวิจัยไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาภูมิภาคและประเทศอย่างยั่งยืน
