KKU Hosts Special Lecture: “Research and Innovation for Commercialization” to Promote the Role of University Holding Companies in Driving the Innovation Economy
มข. จัดบรรยายพิเศษ “งานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์” หนุนบทบาท University Holding Company ขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจนวัตกรรม
Khon Kaen University (KKU), as a powerhouse for generating new knowledge and intellectual property, plays a pivotal role as a “bridge” that connects research in laboratories with industry and society in tangible ways. In particular, the establishment of University Holding Companies serves as a strategic mechanism to effectively drive the development and transfer of innovations from universities to the business sector. These companies also serve as key drivers for IDE-Innovation Driven Enterprise, representing the future of modern entrepreneurship and a great opportunity for Thailand to leap forward in economic value through innovation.
มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นในฐานะเครื่องจักรผลิตองค์ความรู้ใหม่และสร้างทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเป็น “สะพาน” เชื่อมโยงงานวิจัยจากห้องปฏิบัติการไปสู่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมและสังคมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการจัดตั้ง University Holding Company ซึ่งเป็นกลไกเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ที่ช่วยผลักดันการพัฒนาและถ่ายทอดนวัตกรรมจากมหาวิทยาลัยไปสู่ภาคธุรกิจได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ อีกทั้งยังเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนสำคัญของ IDE – Innovation Driven Enterprise ซึ่งเป็นอนาคตของผู้ประกอบการยุคใหม่ และเป็นโอกาสของประเทศไทยในการสร้างมูลค่าเศรษฐกิจอย่างก้าวกระโดดด้วยนวัตกรรม
On May 8, 2025, the Division of Research and Innovation at Khon Kaen University organized a special lecture entitled “Research and Innovation for Commercialization through Policies Promoting University Holding Companies” in Meeting Room 3 (1st floor), Administrative Building, Khon Kaen University Science Park.
เมื่อวันที่ 8 พฤษภาคม 2568 ฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้จัดกิจกรรมบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “งานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์ ผ่านนโยบายส่งเสริม University Holding Company” ณ ห้องประชุม Meeting Room 3 (ชั้น 1) อาคารอำนวยการ อุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ
The event was honored by the presence of Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research and Innovation, who gave the opening remarks. The session featured distinguished guest speaker Mr. Ramade Silapaprom, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CU Enterprise, alongside two co-speakers, Ms. Wachiraporn Phuvachanakarn and Ms. Apichaya Prasertnirun. The speakers shared insights, strategies, and real-world case studies related to the establishment and management of University Holding Companies. An interactive Q&A and discussion session provided attendees with a platform to exchange ideas at length. The morning session welcomed over 70 participants, including academic and support staff as well as the general public.
ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ.พญ.ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม เป็นผู้แทนกล่าวเปิดงาน อีกทั้งได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ คุณราเมศวร์ ศิลปพรหม CEO บริษัท CU Enterprise พร้อมด้วยวิทยากรผู้ช่วยอีกสองท่าน คือ คุณวชิราภรณ์ ภูวชนากานต์ และ คุณอภิชญา ประเสริฐ นิรันดร์ ซึ่งวิทยากรได้ถ่ายทอดแนวคิด กลยุทธ์ และกรณีศึกษาความสำเร็จจากประสบการณ์จริงในการจัดตั้งและบริหาร University Holding Company พร้อมเปิดเวที Interactive Q&A & Discussion ให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นอย่างกว้างขวาง ซึ่งกิจกรรมในช่วงเช้ามีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า 70 ท่าน ประกอบด้วยบุคลากรสายวิชาการ สายสนับสนุน และผู้สนใจทั่วไป
In the afternoon, a policy-level discussion was held on the subject of promoting the establishment of spin-offs and startups. It took place in Kalapruek 7 Meeting Room, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn Building. The discussion was joined by university executives including: Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research and Innovation; Associate Professor Chiranut Sa-ngiamsak, PhD, Assistant to the President for Research and Innovation; Associate Professor Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; and, Ms. Jiraporn Luangpairin, Director of the Intellectual Property Center, Khon Kaen University, along with other related administrators.
และในช่วงบ่าย มีการหารือเชิงนโยบายเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมการจัดตั้ง Spin-off และ Startup ณ ห้องประชุมกาลพฤกษ์ 7 ชั้น 2 อาคารสิริคุณากร โดยมีผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยเข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น อาทิ ศ.พญ.ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม รศ.ดร.จีรนุช เสงี่ยมศักดิ์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม รศ.ดร.รัชพล สันติวรากร คณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ คุณจิราภรณ์ เหลืองไพรินทร์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และคณะผู้บริหารที่เกี่ยวข้อง
The event concluded with a meeting with Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, MD, President of Khon Kaen University, to present a summary report. The presentation emphasized the university’s commitment to advancing policies and strategies that align research outcomes with national economic development.
This event marked another significant step for Khon Kaen University in taking the lead role in shaping the national innovation ecosystem, turning research into real commercial value, and contributing positively to the economy, society, and long-term sustainability of the country.
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ปิดท้ายด้วยการเข้าพบ รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เพื่อรายงานสรุปผลการจัดงาน โดยเน้นย้ำถึงความตั้งใจในการขับเคลื่อนนโยบายและยุทธศาสตร์ของมหาวิทยาลัยให้สามารถต่อยอดผลงานวิจัยให้สอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นในการแสดงบทบาทนำในการสร้างระบบนิเวศนวัตกรรมของชาติ ผลักดันงานวิจัยไปสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม และสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และความยั่งยืนของประเทศในระยะยาว
