KKU Empowers Researchers to Compete for the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund (LMCSF) 2025
มข. เปิดพื้นที่เสริมพลังนักวิจัย เตรียมพิชิตทุน “แม่โขง – ล้านช้าง” ปี 2568
On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, The Research and Innovation Affairs in collaboration with the International Affairs, Khon Kaen University (KKU), organized a workshop aimed at Enhancing project proposal writing skills for the 2025 Lancang-Mekong Special Fund. The event was held at the Sarasin Conference Room, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn Building, KKU.
วันอังคารที่ 27 พฤษภาคม 2568 ตั้งแต่เวลา 13.30 – 16.30 น. ฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม โดยกองบริหารงานวิจัย ร่วมกับฝ่ายการต่างประเทศ ได้จัดกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ ต่อยอดการเขียนข้อเสนอโครงการเพื่อขอรับทุนจาก กองทุนพิเศษ แม่โขง – ล้านช้าง ประจำปี 2568 ณ ห้องประชุมสารสิน ชั้น 2 อาคารสิริคุณากร มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น
The workshop was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Chavis Ketkaew, PhD, Department of Business Administration, Innovation, and Applied Science, International College. He also serves as a member of the Global Funding Initiative Steering Committee and was the moderator for the session.

The event attracted over 28 participants, including faculty members and researchers from various faculties, who actively exchanged ideas. The primary goal was to enhance the quality of research proposals in order to be competitive for international funding, to elevate the level of international research, and to open up new opportunities for KKU researchers on the global stage
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้มีอาจารย์และนักวิจัยจากหลากหลายคณะให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกว่า 28 ท่าน โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพข้อเสนอโครงการให้สามารถแข่งขันและได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก แหล่งทุนฯและมุ่งให้เกิดการวิจัยในระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมสร้างโอกาสใหม่ให้กับนักวิจัย มข. ได้ก้าวสู่เวทีสากล
Brief Introduction of the LMCSF
The Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund (hereinafter referred to as “LMCSF”), as one of the important outcomes of the First LMC Leaders’ Meeting, was officially launched in September of 2016. The total amount of the fund is 300 million USD. The LMCSF is committed to supporting small and medium-sized projects which are initiated under the LMC framework and to delivering tangible benefits for the people of the six member countries, namely Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.
