ฝ่ายวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับนักวิจัยในความสำเร็จของโครงการ Ugly Veggies Plus

Led by Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research at Khon Kaen University, the Research Affairs extends its heartfelt congratulations to Associate Professor Paninee Narutharadol, PhD, Head of the “Ugly Veggie Plus” research project and her research team.  The celebration took place on the occasion of a press conference held to share the project’s success on April 4, 2024.

นำโดย ศาสตราจารย์ แพทย์หญิงผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับความสำเร็จของ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ภานินี นฤธาราดลย์ หัวหน้าโครงการวิจัย “Ugly Veggies Plus” และคณะนักวิจัย ในโอกาสจัดงานแถลงข่าวถ่ายทอดความสำเร็จของโครงการฯ เมื่อวันที่ 4 เมษายน 2567

This project received research funding from the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), under the concept of a low-carbon circular economy. Its goal is to develop products from food waste, such as planting soil, healthy protein bars, and biodegradable plastic straws. The project also incorporates blockchain technology and carbon footprint assessments to set new standards in Thailand’s organic food industry.

โครงการนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนทุนวิจัยจาก หน่วยบริหารและจัดการทุนด้านการเพิ่มความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ (บพข.) ภายใต้แนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนคาร์บอนต่ำ โดยมีเป้าหมายในการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์จากขยะอาหาร เช่น ดินปลูก, โปรตีนบาร์สุขภาพ และหลอดพลาสติกย่อยสลายได้ พร้อมทั้งนำเทคโนโลยี Blockchain และการประเมิน Carbon Footprint มาใช้เพื่อสร้างมาตรฐานใหม่ของอุตสาหกรรมอาหารอินทรีย์ไทย

The project has not only generated actual revenue of over 1.33 million baht within a period of three years but has also expanded into the business sector through a network of more than 100 entrepreneurs nationwide!
