Professor Nonglak Meethong, PhD, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, and Director of the New Era Battery and Energy Factory, Khon Kaen University (KKU), presented the innovative battery “KKUVolts” at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Fair (MHESI) Fair 2025, Zone G: Craft Market. The event was organized by the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT) to provide the public, students, and interested participants with the opportunity to experience Thai-developed lithium-ion battery production technology, designed and advanced by KKU researchers.

รศ. ดร.นงลักษณ์ มีทอง ผู้อำนวยการโรงงานแบตเตอรี่และพลังงานยุคใหม่ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นำผลงานนวัตกรรมแบตเตอรี่ “KKUVolts” เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงและจำหน่าย ในงาน อว.แฟร์ 2025 ภายใน Zone G Craft Market  ซึ่งจัดโดยที่ประชุมอธิการบดีแห่งประเทศไทย (ทปอ.) เพื่อให้ประชาชน นักเรียน นักศึกษา และผู้ที่สนใจ ได้สัมผัสเทคโนโลยีการผลิตแบตเตอรี่ลิเทียมไอออนฝีมือคนไทย ที่ออกแบบและพัฒนาขึ้นโดยนักวิจัย มข.

• Movable BESS – a giant portable power bank, solar-chargeable, easy to transport, and ideal for outdoor use

“KKUVolts” is a prototype battery developed with cutting-edge technology, emphasizing efficiency, safety, and eco-friendliness. It is designed for multiple applications, ranging from renewable energy systems and electric vehicles to electronic devices. This innovation represents a commercial-ready research output with strong potential for industrial-scale production.
