About the Program
The Commission of the European Communities (EEC) historically managed and coordinated development cooperation, trade relations, and political dialogue with Southeast Asian countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam under the framework of EU foreign policy and development aid. It implemented programs and funded projects in areas like:Economic development,Sustainable development, Human rights and Regional cooperation. These initiatives were part of the EU’s broader external relations and development cooperation strategies.
