About the Program

The European Research Council (ERC) is a prestigious funding body established by the European Union to support frontier research across all fields of science, technology, engineering, and scholarship. For early-career researchers (2-7 years post-PhD) establishing their independent research team and (7-12 years post-PhD) consolidating their research team and program.In September 2022, the ERC and Thailand’s Programme Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B) signed an Administrative Arrangement aimed at fostering cooperation between Thai researchers and ERC-funded research teams in Europe. This partnership enables Thai researchers to participate in ERC-supported projects, enhancing their research capabilities and international exposure.
