About the Program

In the mid-17th century, informal gatherings of London- and Oxford-based intellectuals coalesced to form a chartered organization. Its name would be The Royal Society of London for Improving Natural Knowledge. The UK’s independent national academy of sciences, offering prestigious fellowships and grants to support research excellence across natural sciences, both in the UK and internationally. Funding is available primarily for postdoctoral level and above; students (Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD) are not eligible.
