The Research and Innovation Affairs of Khon Kaen University, through the Research Administration Division, extends its congratulations to KKU researchers who have been ranked among the “Top 2% of World Scientists”by Stanford University
This global recognition highlights the outstanding contributions of KKU researchers in advancing scientific knowledge and creating research impact at an international level. The evaluation is presented in two categories: Single-Year Impact and Long-Career Impact, identifying researchers with the highest research influence in their respective disciplines. 30 KKU researchers have been recognized across diverse academic fields, including Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Public Health, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, Computer Science, and Business Administration.
The Stanford University ranking is considered one of the most prestigious assessments of research excellence worldwide. It is based on academic citation data from the Scopus database and incorporates multiple standardized metrics. This recognition not only underscores the quality, consistency, and global impact of research conducted at Khon Kaen University but also reflects the university’s strong commitment to fostering innovation and academic excellence. The World Top 2% Scientists Ranking serves as an essential benchmark for universities and policymakers, enabling the assessment of research quality and long-term academic impact.
