participated in the 8th Annual Academic Conference (The 8th RUN Summit) under the theme “Frontier in AI Research.”The event was hosted by Mahidol University during 27–28 November 2025 at Asia Hotel, Bangkok.

เข้าร่วมการประชุมสัมมนาวิชาการประจำปี ครั้งที่ 8 (The 8th RUN Summit) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Frontier in AI Research” ซึ่งจัดโดยมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ระหว่างวันที่ 27–28 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ณ โรงแรมเอเชีย กรุงเทพฯ

The conference was organized through the collaboration of the Research University Network Thailand (RUN), comprising eight leading universities: Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Thammasat University, Mahidol University, Prince of Songkla University, and Naresuan University. The network aims to strengthen national research capacity, innovation development, and global competitiveness.
The opening ceremony began with a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, followed by welcoming remarks from senior administrators of Mahidol University and Thammasat University, as well as a policy briefing on research funding by PMU-B. The program featured presentations on emerging trends in AI and modern technology, covering four priority areas, in which 13 researchers from Khon Kaen University participated:

This conference served as a major platform uniting the eight leading RUN universities to jointly define the nation’s research direction under the theme “Frontier in AI Research.” In collaboration with PMU-B, the event aimed to develop research agendas and enhance opportunities for co-funding across four AI-driven frontier areas. Activities included researcher brainstorming sessions, knowledge exchange, networking, and visits to state-of-the-art research facilities at Mahidol University. Altogether, the event strengthened the capabilities of Thai researchers, fostered national-level collaboration, and supported Thailand’s advancement toward becoming a regional hub for research and innovation.
