The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research and Innovation, who delivered the welcome address and extended a warm welcome to representatives from the JSPS Bangkok Office, as well as faculty members and early-career researchers from various academic fields.  The event took place on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, in Meeting Room 3, 1st Floor, Northeastern Science Park Building, Khon Kaen University.

โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ.พญ. ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน พร้อมกล่าวต้อนรับผู้แทนจากสำนักงาน JSPS Bangkok รวมทั้งอาจารย์ และนักวิจัยรุ่นใหม่ จากหลากหลายสาขาวิชาที่ให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมครั้งนี้  กิจกรรมจัดขึ้น ณ ห้องประชุม 3 ชั้น 1 อาคารอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในวันจันทร์ ที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2568 ตั้งแต่เวลา 13.00- 16.30 น.

Associate Professor Chawis Ketkaew, PhD, International College, and a member of the Global Funding Initiative Steering Committee, served as the event moderator.

ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก รศ.ดร.ชวิศ เกตุแก้ว สังกัดวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ และ คณะกรรมการขับเคลื่อนโครงการ Global Funding Initiative ทำหน้าที่ดำเนินรายการ

The objective of the event was to raise awareness and promote access to research funding opportunities provided by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)—Japan’s premier organization supporting international research collaboration.  The program featured a comprehensive session on JSPS scholarships and the development of academic partnerships between Thailand and Japan, presented by Ms. Kazumi Yabuta, Deputy Director of the JSPS Bangkok Office, together with Ms. Liping Dai and Ms. Mika Hara, International Program Associates.   Attendees also benefited from firsthand insights shared by experienced researchers. Professor Kittisak Sawanyawisuth, MD, PhD, from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, delivered a special lecture, followed by Associate Professor Atit Silsirivanit, PhD, also from the Faculty of Medicine, who offered valuable guidance on crafting research proposals for JSPS funding.

กิจกรรมนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงโอกาสทุนวิจัยจาก JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรหลักในการสนับสนุนความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยระหว่างประเทศ ประกอบด้วยการบรรยายให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทุน JSPS และการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างไทย–ญี่ปุ่น โดย Ms. YABUTA Kazumi รองผู้อำนวยการ JSPS Bangkok Office พร้อมทีมผู้แทนจากสำนักงาน คือ Ms. DAI Liping and Ms. HARA Mika, International program associate of JSPS Bangkok Office นอกจากนี้ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยังได้รับฟังประสบการณ์การทำงานวิจัยที่ญี่ปุ่น จากนักวิจัยผู้มีประสบการณ์ตรง ศ.นพ. กิตติศักดิ์ สวรรยาวิสุทธิ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. ให้เกียรติในการบรรยายพิเศษ พร้อมด้วย รศ.ดร. อาทิตย์ ศิลปศิริวานิชย์ จากคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. ให้เกียรติในการบรรยายพิเศษ หัวข้อ แนวทางการเขียนข้อเสนอโครงการเพื่อขอรับทุน JSPS

และปิดท้ายกิจกรรมด้วยการสร้างเครือข่ายนักวิจัย (Networking) เพื่อร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล ความสนใจ และแนวทางความร่วมมือในอนาคต เพื่อช่วยสนับสนุนนักวิจัยสู่เวทีนานาชาติ และหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่ากิจกรรมในครั้งนี้จะเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิจัยระหว่างไทยและญี่ปุ่นให้ยั่งยืนต่อไป
