About the Program

Worlds Health Organization (WHO) is the United Nations agency that connects nations, partners and people to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable – so everyone, everywhere can attain the highest level of health, established in 1948. Includes work on infectious diseases (e.g., HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, COVID-19), non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, immunization, and health system strengthening.Functions:

Monitoring and assessing health trends globally

Providing technical support to countries

Coordinating international responses to disease outbreaks and emergencies

Developing evidence-based health policies and guidelines

Promoting health equity and universal health coverage

Funding Available:

£50,000 – £100,000

Program Duration:

Up to 24 months
