On September 8–9, 2025, Khon Kaen University (KKU), as one of the collaborative network agencies of the Senate, the National Assembly of Thailand, presented its research and innovations in smart agricultural technology at the academic exhibition and seminar entitled “Academic Day for Legislative Development for the Benefit of the People and the Nation”.  The event was organized by the Senate Committee on Research and Development in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Senate and its research network partners, and was held at the Parliament House of Thailand, also known as Sappaya Saphasathan (สัปปายะสภาสถาน), in Bangkok.

เมื่อวันที่ 8–9 กันยายน 2568 มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (มข.) ในฐานะหนึ่งในหน่วยงานเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับวุฒิสภา ได้นำเสนอผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมด้านเทคโนโลยีการเกษตรอัจฉริยะ ภายในงานนิทรรศการและสัมมนาทางวิชาการ “วันวิชาการสู่งานนิติบัญญัติเพื่อประโยชน์ของประชาชนและประเทศชาติ” จัดโดยคณะกรรมการวิจัยและพัฒนาของวุฒิสภา ร่วมกับสำนักงานเลขาธิการวุฒิสภา และเครือข่ายงานวิจัย ณ อาคารรัฐสภา กรุงเทพฯ

The exhibition was honored by the visit of H.E. Mongkol Surasajja, the President of the Senate; Mr. Bunsong Noisophon, Second Vice-President of the Senate; Mr. Peerapot Rattanamalee, Deputy Secretary-General of the Senate; a number of other Senators; Mr. Peerapoj Rattanamalee, Deputy Secretary-General of the Senate, along with bureau directors and senior officials, who attended and viewed the research showcase.

Key research highlights from Khon Kaen University included:

• Targeted Herbicide Application in Sugarcane Fields
  Utilizing drone-based spot spraying technology to identify weed locations and spray precisely at targeted points. This innovation reduces chemical usage, lowers production costs, and enhances sugarcane value.
• Biochar and Briquette Production from Agricultural Waste
  Transforming agricultural residues into biomass pellets and briquettes, contributing to sustainable energy solutions and climate change mitigation.
• Other Smart Agriculture Technologies
  Including a prototype Farm Management Platform (Farm ERP), the application of NIR spectroscopy, and the Longevity AI Smart Farm.

ผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมด้านเทคโนโลยีการเกษตรอัจฉริยะ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นที่นำไปจัดแสดง

1. เทคโนโลยีการจำกัดวัชพืชในไร่อ้อยแบบฉีดเฉพาะจุด
   โดยใช้โดรนฉีดพ่นเฉพาะจุด วิเคราะห์ตำแหน่งวัชพืชและฉีดพ่นตรงจุด ช่วยลดการใช้สารเคมี ลดต้นทุนการผลิต และเพิ่มมูลค่าอ้อย
2. การผลิตไบโอชาร์และถ่านอัดแท่งจากวัสดุเหลือทิ้งทางการเกษตร
   พัฒนาเป็นเชื้อเพลิงชีวมวลอัดเม็ดและถ่านอัดแท่ง เพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ยั่งยืน และเป็นแนวทางลดผลกระทบจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ
3. เทคโนโลยีเกษตรอัจฉริยะอื่น ๆ
   เช่น ต้นแบบแพลตฟอร์มบริหารจัดการฟาร์ม (Farm ERP), การประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยี NIR spectroscopy, และ Longevity AI Smart Farm

This exhibition served as a platform for presenting academic knowledge and research outcomes with potential for policy utilization and legislative processes.  In total, research and innovation showcases from the Senate Secretariat and 18 network institutions under the MOU framework were exhibited in the foyer of the Senate meeting room, 2nd Floor, Secretariat of the Senate, Parliament Complex, Bangkok.

นิทรรศการฯ นี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นเวทีนำเสนอองค์ความรู้และผลงานวิจัยที่สามารถนำไปสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงนโยบายและกระบวนการนิติบัญญัติ โดยภายในงานนิทรรศการประกอบไปด้วยการแสดงผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรม จากสำนักงานเลขาธิการวุฒิสภา และหน่วยงานเครือข่าย MOU จำนวน 18 หน่วยงาน ณ บริเวณโถงหน้าห้องประชุมวุฒิสภา ชั้น 2 สำนักงานเลขาธิการวุฒิสภา อาคารรัฐสภา กรุงเทพฯ
