On August 1, 2022, Professor Pewpan Maleewong, M.D., Assistant President of Research and Graduate Studies, Khon Kaen University, had an audience with Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Princess Debaratana Rajasuda. Her Majesty visited the research exhibition at Thailand Research Expo 2022 at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre, 22nd floor, Centara Grand Hotel, Centralworld Bangkok.
On August 2, 2022, Professor Pewpan Maleewong and her team, Representative of Khonkaen University, attended the opening ceremony of the booth RUN Expo 2022, presided over by Professor Wachira Kochakan, Ph.D., Vice President for Resource Development, Mahidol University, and Chairman of the University Alliance for Research Network.
Research University Network: RUN, under the concept “Driving BCG Economy Through R&I.”, is a combination of 8 universities, including Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Kasetsart University, Thammasat University, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Prince of Songkla University and Naresuan University.
This year, Khon Kaen University brought research results to participate in 2 works. The first was PHARM2GM, a skincare product set from mangosteen peel extract (Cleansing Foam/Facial Mist/Intensive Serum/Serum Foundation) by Professor Kanokwan Marathi, Ph.D., Faculty of Pharmacy, Khon Kaen University.
The second was Healthy Purple Waxy Corn Soup with Herbs for preventing fatigue, dry eyes, improving memory and sleep quality, and personal nutrition by Professor Jintanaporn Wattanathorn, Ph.D., from the Research Institute for Human High Performance and Health Promotion, Department of Physiology Faculty of Medicine Khon Kaen University.
