KKU joins a meeting with representatives from Korea National University of Education (KNUE),Republic of Korea (South Korea), to move forward on educational network in Asia-Pacific region

On October 12, 2022, at Kalapruek meeting room 7, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn building, at 09.30 hrs. KKU administrators led by Prof. Monchai Duangjinda, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies and Assoc. Prof. Maitree Inprasitha, Vice President for Education and Academic Services, and Asst. Prof. Nattapat Ananteerakul, Assistant to the President for Education and Academic Services, Asst. Prof. Thanapauge Chamaratana, Vice Dean for Administration, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,  Asst. Prof. Dr.Nusara Surakotra, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Development, and Alumni, Mrs. Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division  joined a meeting to discuss with the delegation from Korea National University of Education (KNUE), Republic of Korea (South Korea). The objective of the meeting was to discuss academic collaboration, UNITWIN project introduction, the teaching profession course, faculty staff exchange, research, and introducing student under the CAMPUS-Asia Plus project.

Prof. Monchai Duangjinda, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies revealed that the vision of Khon Kaen University is  to lead the university to become “a world-class research development”. KKU is pleased to support the activities promoting academic and national and international research. Therefore, this meeting is a good opportunity to develop teaching profession courses between two universities. It’s also to exchange knowledge on teaching and learning research, build research networking, and promote on KKU Inbound Visiting Scholar project, which supports foreign experts to teach or research with Khon Kaen University.

In this regard, a representative of the Korea National University of Education (KNUE), Republic of Korea, said that on behalf of the KNUE, they are pleased to cooperate in the UNITWIN project, which supports a professional skill development. The focus is on interaction and research, collaboration on educational content, networking and partnership in the Asia-Pacific region, including Thailand.
