29-30 October 2022, Khon Kaen University by Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN Center for Research in Mathematics Education (CRME) and the Education Foundation for The Development of Thinking Skills are supported by the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) organized seminars for school administrators under Lesson Study and Open Approach Method.

Professor Dr. Monchai Duangjinda Vice Predident for Research and Graduate Studies, Khon Kaen University, opening remarks at the meeting. Associate Professor Dr. Maitree Inprasitha Vice President for Education and Academic Services and Acting Director of the Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN Center report on the history of this seminar. Associate Professor Dr. Kittichai Trairatnasirichai, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and former Rector of Khon Kaen University and Dr. Bhumiphat Ruanglao Assistant Secretary-General of the Council on Education and Luminary of the Institute for Teacher Research and Development for ASEAN Welcome remarks, and Dr. Boonya Lield, a former senator and chairman of the Subcommittee on Education and Science, greeted the school directors and teachers who attended the event.

Also, there are a special lecture on the direction of using research in the country’s educational innovation by Prof. Dr. Monchai Duangjinda and a special lecture to the school director and participants on the topic “Thinking Skills: Thailand Lesson Study and Open Approach” by Associate Professor Dr. Maitree Inprasitha.

            This activity aims to develop thinking skills and the director of the school under the operation of the Center for Research in Mathematics studies consists of: Administrators and teachers of 114 innovative schools covering 19 provinces in the Northeastern. Eastern, North, Middle, and South. It is a space to exchange learning about using innovation, knowledge development, using innovation practice as well as the deletion of lessons from operations and get feedback from successful schools. To guide the implementation of the school administrators in the project, who have become a new generation of network schools. To be able to continue to work with the Teacher Professional Research and Development Institute for ASEAN.
