KKU President chairs the meeting of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Vaccination of Khon Kaen University

May 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. – Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University presided over the first meeting of 2021 of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Vaccination of Khon Kaen University at Sirikunakorn Room 5, 6th Floor, Sirikunakorn Building. The committee members comprise Vice President for Administration, Vice President for Human Resources, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relation, Vice President for Infrastructure, Vice President for Digital, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Director of Srinagarind Hospital, Assistant to the President for Human Resources, Assistant to the President for Student Development and Alumni Relation, Assistant to the President for Security, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, Head of the Social Medicine Unit of Srinagarind Hospital, and Director of the Office of the President who acted as the Secretary of the meeting, which was also available online via the video conferencing.

The approaches were decided at the meeting to get prepared for the vaccination against the coronavirus Covid-19 for the public, the staff, and the students of Khon Kaen University. The plans were also set for the vaccination, public relation of information, and the monitoring and following up of the work as well as surveillance of the possibly occurring side effects after vaccination, so that everything will be carried out smoothly and effectively, and brings confidence among those who are going to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in June, 2021.
