มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ต้อนรับคณะกรรมการติดตามและประเมินผลการสนับสนุนวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม ในการการลงพื้นที่ติดตามโครงการวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ของสำนักงานเร่งรัดการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมเพื่อเพิ่มความสามารถการแข่งขันและการพัฒนาพื้นที่ (องค์การมหาชน) (รวพ.) โดยหน่วยบริหารจัดการทุนด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมเพื่ออุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต (บพค.)

ระหว่างวันที่ 5 – 6 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ อุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภูมิภาค ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

The visit was honoured by the presence of Dr. Suwit Wibulpolprasert, MD, Chairperson of the Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of Science, Research and Innovation Funding; Associate Professor Weerapong Pairsuwan, PhD, Chairperson of the PMU-B Subcommittee; Dr. Siriporn Pittayasophon, Vice President of the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO); Assistant Professor Poolsak Koseeyaporn, PhD, Deputy Director of Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI); Dr. Nirawat Thammajak , Executive Director of PMU-B; together with executives and staff members from PMU-B, TSRI, and NXPO.

On this occasion, Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research and Innovation and representative of the President of Khon Kaen University, delivered the welcoming remarks and presented an overview of the University’s research and innovation achievements supported by PMU-B. Researchers from Khon Kaen University also presented six PMU-B funded projects as follows:

     ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ศ. พญ.ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ผู้แทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กล่าวต้อนรับคณะกรรมการฯ พร้อมนำเสนอภาพรวมผลการดำเนินงานด้านวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก บพค. และ นักวิจัยมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นได้ร่วมนำเสนอผลงานที่ได้รับงบประมาณจาก บพค. จำนวน 6 เรื่อง ได้แก่

Research and Development for Advancing Thai Screenwriting to the Global Market and Cultivating Internationally Competent Professionals through the Cultural Roots and Identity of the Lan Xang Heritage, presented by Associate Professor Niyom Wongphongkham, PhD, Principal Investigator. โครงการวิจัยและพัฒนายกระดับการเขียนบทภาพยนตร์ไทยสู่ตลาดโลก และกำลังคนที่เชี่ยวชาญระดับสากล โดยใช้รากเหง้าและอัตลักษณ์วัฒนธรรมล้านช้าง นำเสนอโดย รศ. ดร.นิยม วงศ์พงษ์คำ หัวหน้าโครงการ

In addition, the committee visited several key research and innovation infrastructures of the University, including the Battery and Modern Energy Factory, the Biohythane Pilot Plant, and the Food Pilot Plant. These facilities serve as important mechanisms for supporting research, technological development, and knowledge transfer to industry and local communities. นอกจากนี้ คณะกรรมการฯ ยังได้เยี่ยมชมโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านวิจัยและนวัตกรรมที่สำคัญของมหาวิทยาลัย ประกอบด้วย โรงงานแบตเตอรี่และพลังงานยุคใหม่ โรงงานต้นแบบไบโอไฮเทน (Biohythane Pilot Plant) และโรงงานต้นแบบเกษตรและอาหาร (Food Pilot Plant) ซึ่งเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการสนับสนุนการวิจัย การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี และการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้สู่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมและชุมชน

This site visit provided an important platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange among policymakers, funding agencies, higher education institutions, and researchers. It enabled stakeholders to monitor project progress, gather recommendations, and jointly identify pathways for translating research and innovation outcomes into practical applications. Such efforts are expected to enhance national competitiveness, promote regional development, and generate sustainable economic and social impacts for the country. 

       การลงพื้นที่ในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นระหว่างหน่วยงานกำหนดนโยบาย หน่วยบริหารจัดการทุน สถาบันอุดมศึกษา และนักวิจัย เพื่อร่วมกันติดตามความก้าวหน้ารับฟังข้อเสนอแนะและกำหนดแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่การใช้ประโยชน์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม อันจะนำไปสู่การยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ การพัฒนาพื้นที่ และการสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม

     On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Wiman Meeting Room, Dusit Thani Bangkok, the Research and Innovation Affairs, Khon Kaen University, represented by Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, participated in the ASEAN Young Scientists Connect 2026 (AYSC), organized by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) in collaboration with international partner networks under the framework of the Global Research Council (GRC) Annual Meeting 2026.  

เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 เวลา 08.30 – 15.00 น. ณ ห้องประชุมวิมาน โรงแรมดุสิตธานี กรุงเทพมหานคร ฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดย ศ.พญ.ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ ได้เข้าร่วมงาน ASEAN Young Scientists Connect 2026 (AYSC) ซึ่งจัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (สกสว.) ร่วมกับเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ ภายใต้การประชุม Global Research Council (GRC) Annual Meeting 2026 

     The event was convened with the objective of fostering research collaboration among early-career researchers in the ASEAN region while strengthening networks of scientists and researchers at the global level. It also served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and the development of collaborative research initiatives aimed at addressing critical regional and global challenges, including climate change, sustainable development, environmental sustainability, and public health.

การจัดงานดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยระหว่างนักวิจัยรุ่นใหม่ในภูมิภาคอาเซียน พร้อมผลักดันการสร้างเครือข่ายนักวิทยาศาสตร์และนักวิจัยสู่เวทีระดับโลก ตลอดจนร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และพัฒนาแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัย เพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายสำคัญของภูมิภาค อาทิ การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน สิ่งแวดล้อม และสาธารณสุข

     Participation in this event underscores Khon Kaen University’s commitment to advancing research and innovation through international collaboration. Moreover, it highlights the University’s dedication to fostering networks among young researchers in order to enhance the scientific, research, and innovation capacities of the ASEAN region in accordance with international standards.

การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นในการขับเคลื่อนงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมสนับสนุนการสร้างเครือข่ายนักวิจัยรุ่นใหม่ เพื่อยกระดับศักยภาพด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรมของภูมิภาคอาเซียน 

Professor Pewpan Maleewong, MD, Vice President for Research and Innovation, Khon Kaen University, participated in an official consultative meeting with Professor Yodchanan Wongsawat, PhD, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), at the invitation of the Research and Innovation Committee of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT). The meeting aimed to exchange policy perspectives and strategic recommendations regarding the governance and administration of research within Thailand’s higher education sector.

     ศาสตราจารย์ พญ.ผิวพรรณ มาลีวงษ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เข้าร่วมการเข้าพบและประชุมหารือกับ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ยศชนัน วงศ์สวัสดิ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) ตามคำเชิญของคณะกรรมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ที่ประชุมอธิการบดีแห่งประเทศไทย (ทปอ.) เพื่อร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายด้านการบริหารงานวิจัยของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาไทย

The meeting was held at Room CA301, the Parliament Building of Thailand (Sappaya-Sapasathan), Bangkok, on 15 May 2026, with senior executives and representatives from higher education institutions nationwide in attendance. The participants jointly discussed approaches to strengthening the national research and innovation ecosystem through the development of efficient, integrated, and policy-responsive mechanisms aligned with Thailand’s strategic development priorities, while also enhancing the translation of research outputs into tangible societal and economic impacts.             

     การประชุมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้น ณ ห้อง CA301 อาคารรัฐสภา เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤษภาคม 2569 โดยมีผู้บริหารและผู้แทนจากสถาบันอุดมศึกษาทั่วประเทศเข้าร่วม เพื่อร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนแนวทางการพัฒนาระบบวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของประเทศให้มีประสิทธิภาพ สอดคล้องกับทิศทางการพัฒนาประเทศ และสามารถนำผลงานวิจัยไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

On this occasion, Khon Kaen University, through its Research and Innovation Affairs, presented a bouquet of flowers to Professor Yodchanan Wongsawat to congratulate him on his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The University further reaffirmed its commitment to continuously supporting the advancement of research, innovation, and national human capital development for the country.

ในโอกาสนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้ร่วมมอบช่อดอกไม้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ยศชนัน วงศ์สวัสดิ์ เพื่อแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งรองนายกรัฐมนตรี และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม พร้อมทั้งยืนยันเจตนารมณ์ในการร่วมสนับสนุนการขับเคลื่อนงานวิจัย นวัตกรรม และการพัฒนากำลังคนของประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง

This participation in this high-level policy discussion reflects the strategic role of Khon Kaen University as a leading higher education institution dedicated to promoting research excellence and innovation-driven development.
