The Government Gazette website published the announcement of the Prime Minister’s Office on October 29, 2022; His Majesty the King has graciously appointed 24 new professors. For Khon Kaen University, the new professorship positions were bestowed upon nine academic staff members, namely:
- Prof. Wanida Kanarkard, Ph.D. of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Worawan Chandoevwit, Ph.D. of the Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Patcharee Jearanaikoon, Ph.D. of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Buapun Promphakping, Ph.D. of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Saksit Chanthai, Ph.D. of the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Apa Juntavee, D.D.S, Ph.D. of the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Wichai Eungpinichpong, Ph.D. of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Naesinee Chaiear, M.D., Ph.D. of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University
- Prof. Sumalee Chaijaroen, Ph.D. of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University
