Prof. Jintanaporn Wattanatorn, Ph.D., a researcher from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, brings another reputation to KKU by being awarded a golden medal from the “2022 Shanghai International Invention and Innovation Exhibition”, for the cashew nut product in the form of health food, another value-added success.

Wednesday June 15, 2022 at Makkawan Rangsan Room, 3rd Floor, Thai Army Union, Vibhavadee Road, Bangkok – Thailand National Research Council, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation held the “Internationally Outstanding Inventors Awards Ceremony” and presentation of certificates of appreciation to Thai inventors and researchers who have been awarded. The event demonstrated the success of the Thai inventors and researchers whose capacities have attained the level of international success. There were altogether 164 works awarded at 11 international stages from the beginning of the fiscal year 2022 up until the present date. One of the prizes, awarded at the “2022 Shanghai International Invention and Innovation Exhibition”, which was held on April 14-16, 2022 in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, was granted to Prof. Jintanaporn Wattanatorn, Ph.D., a researcher from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. Her piece of work that has brought success to her is: “Adding values to a cashew nut product in the form of health food”. The work was submitted under the Office of Agricultural Research Development (Public Organization). There were 9 golden medals, 9 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals awarded to Thai inventors and researchers under this category.

Thailand National Research Council, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation held an Internationally Outstanding Inventors Awards Ceremony.

The Internationally Outstanding Inventors Awards Ceremony this year was presided over by Prof. Sirirerk Songsivilai, M.D., Ph.D., Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, who also presented the certificates of appreciation to the internationally awarded Thai inventors and researchers. On this occasion, Prof. Sirirerk also gave a special talk on: “Policy and Direction to Propel Inventions, Research Works, and Innovations towards International Stages”. At the event, Dr. Wiparat Dee-ong, Director of the National Research Council conveyed the reporting speech about the event, which was held to show the success of the Thai researchers and inventors who were able to win different awards at the beginning of the fiscal year 2022 until now. There were 164 pieces of work that were granted different awards from 11 international venues.
