International Affairs Division, International Affairs, together with Research and Graduate Studies, organized the activity “Workshop on Boosting H-Index (Series I )” which was held under the objective of boosting the academic writings and research, leading to an increase in the number of citations.
There were three honored speakers: 1.) Prof. Dr. Monchai Duangjinda, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, gave a lecture on “KKU Research Policy 2.) Prof. Dr. Steven Edwards, Professor of Infection Biology and Microbiomes, University of Liverpool, The United Kingdom, lectured on “How to successfully boost H-Index”, and 3.) Prof. Dr. Banchob Sripa Methee, Senior Research Fellow, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, shared his experience with the topic of “Sharing experience with KKU World Top 2% Scientist by Stanford University 2021”. The event attracted over 30 participants, with many faculty staff and researchers interested in increasing citation score and publications.
This event was honored by Prof. Dr. Monchai Duangjinda, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, who presided over the opening ceremony of “Workshop on Boosting H-Index (Series I )”. This workshop is a collaboration between the International Affairs and the Research and Graduate Studies under the project of Building and Sustaining World-Class Academic & Research Collaboration in the fiscal year of 2022. The purpose of organizing this activity is helping to drive academic researchers develop academic writing and research papers. In order to increase the number of citations, techniques and methods for building cooperation with research institutions of foreign universities were also introduced to exchange ideas. Research processes with world-leading researchers and acquiring leading international publications have led to the university’s placement in the World Class University and increased the University’s Ranking.
