Khon Kaen University discusses with Professor University of Glasgow, UK.

On January 26, 2024, at the Special Lounge, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn Building. Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., Rector of Khon Kaen University, Prof. Pewpan Maleewong, M.D.

Assistant Rector for Research and Graduate Studies, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-ngarm, Ph.D., Assistant Rector for Foreign Affairs, along with Prof. Kanchana Setthanan, Ph.D., and Asst. Prof. Kwankate Kanistanon, Ph.D., Acting Director of the Foreign Affairs Division. Discussing cooperation with Professor Ming K. Lim, Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, Professor of Supply Chain Management & Digitalisation, Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, UK, with the objective to discussing Cooperation in academics, research, and innovation. Professor Lim has expertise in many areas such as Industrial Engineering, Business Health Care Management, etc., and in the future, Professor and lecturer at Khon Kaen University. There are plans to continue joint research and academic services in these various areas.

Rector Khon Kaen University There is still an idea that in the near future, I would like to invite Professor Lim to give a lecture and organize a workshop for students and medical personnel, especially in the field of Health Care Management, which aims to use modern technology to help manage medical services efficiently. This activity should be very useful in increasing medical knowledge. Developing the application of knowledge in many fields as well as creating a network of cooperation between researchers from both institutions.

Along with this, Professor Lim also spoke at the end to inspire researchers that “The benefits of research are not just publication. But we must also create benefits for our industry and society.”
