Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University had a meeting with Prof. Thidarat Boonmars, D.V.M., Ph.D., Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise; Asst. Prof. Denpong Soodphakdee, Ph.D., Vice President for Digital; Mr. Apichai Wongsriworaphon, Ph.D., Director of the Science Park Khon Kaen; Assoc. Prof. Wanida Kanarkard, Ph.D., a lecturer from the Department of Engineering Computer, Faculty of Engineering and Assoc. Prof. Rawee Hanpachoen, Ph.D., a lecturer from the Faculty of Architecture. The meeting was on the management of the Smart city Operation Center (SCOPC) under the Big Rock Project of Khon Kaen University, which took place at the President Meeting Room, 6th Floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University.
Smart City Operation Center (SCOPC) is located at the main building of the Northeast Science Park, Khon Kaen. The center is equipped with a big-sized data analysis tool, which is useful for analyzing agricultural, commercial, business and industrial data of Khon Kaen Province. The agenda at the meeting included the guidelines for the clients, KKU Smart city project, Khon Kaen Smart city project, research and academic service project, public service project, and management of revenues, expenditures and budget.
