Based on the work of the “Commercial Prototype Icing Production Development Project” to increase the value of domestic raw materials as well as reduce the import of foreign products through the research and innovation of researchers, Assoc. Prof. Voranuch Srijesdaruk Lecturer, Department of Food Technology Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, The head of the research project and a team of researchers from Phayao University supported by a research grant from the National Research Agency under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (UAW)  received the attention of many media outlets.

For the “Commercial Prototype Icing Plate Development Project”, we have developed a continuous icing sheet production machine that is suitable for the production of icing sheets on an industrial scale, and has also developed icing sheet formulations from natural raw materials in Thailand. To develop into photo print sheets for sticking on cakes and various bakery products. It can be stored at room temperature for more than 6 months, where the water activity value is less than 0.6 and the microbial value is under standard for a 6-month storage period. No large bubbles, no fish eye pellets. It can be easily peeled off from plastic sheets. The images obtained in print are sharp and beautiful. Comparable to the quality of goods imported from abroad.

The success of this research project will contribute to the increase in the production of more products. This  result in business expansion and competitiveness in international markets, and the success of this research project will contribute to the increase in the production of more products. This result in business expansion and competitiveness in international markets as part of the country’s competitiveness. Both in the dimensions of creating economic value and developing sustainable quality manpower.
